Touch & Read – CVC Words – Short O Sound

Kids select a word card and touch the dots as they say each sound. Then they read the full word. Develops skills in isolating sounds in CVC words, blending sounds and decoding words.

CVC stands for consonant-vowel-consonant.  CAT would be a CVC word.  I also included short vowel words with beginning blends and digraphs (FROG or THIS) as well as short vowel words with double consonants at the end (HILL).
